My sister has been wanting to lose weight so i've been helping her with her workout program. She does lots of cardio and lifts weights. She's not obese but she is a bit over weight. I try to stay fit.. I eat 5 small meals a day, do cardio, and lift weights. I've told her to start eating 5 small meals a day too but the thing is, she doesn't eat alot she just eats the wrong things AND she wakes up at 11 or 12 P.M. to go to the gym wich doesnt leave her with alot of time to place her meals 2-3 hours apart. I'm afraid she's eating too little and i understand that losing more than 2 lbs a week will result in alot of muscle loss AND that she wont be able to keep the weight off afterwards. She does have breakfast, a snack, and dinner (everything is healthy) but all of this adds up to less than 1,400 calories which is what she needs to consume to lose weight. In fact, i bet most of the time the food doesn't even reach 1,000 calories because of the calories she burns at the gym. I understand she's not hungry, i'm not going to make her wake up early in the morning, and i can't force her to eat when she isnt hungry..so what do i do?

Well you don't want to be working out and only taking in less than 1400 calories.
At some point, the muscles being built up will add to more weight gain after all the fat is lost.
Try to get her to eat more healthy foods, don't overwork.
