3rd Sept 1943 - 2nd May 1945. The Royal Armoured Corps. It is approximately 16"x12", it is reproduced and printed by 650 Field Survey Production Company, R.E. It has an introduction by Major General, H.L. Birks, D.S.O. Major General, Royal Armoured Corps Allied Force Headquarters. It has sketches depicting key points in the fighting, or places in Italy well known to the Royal Armoured Corps by Eric Manning, and portraits of the officers who led the Royal Armoured Corps painted by Grahame Drew. I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge of this bookwhich it seems were issued to the units that took part in the campaign
Answer on My father passed away recently and my mother has a book entitled "The Italian Campaign"?
It's basically a unit history of the RAC in ITALY. My family has a similar book from my grandfathers service with the 25th Infantry DIv. in Korea.
