My 16 year old daughter has left home(in England) and gone to Italy without my permission - what can I do?

My 16 year old daughter has left home ( in England) and gone to Italy ,without my ,or her fathers permission, so that she can study music there. I don't know exactly where she's gone but I do know that it is one of the main cities in Italy. She took all her stuff ,bought plane tickets etc ( presumably with friends help) and simply went. She left us a very long and detailed letter explaining the reasons etc -the prime one being that she wants to study seriously to become an opera singer and she (thinks she) can only do that in Italy.
I do not want her to go there and want her to come home immediatly -What can I do about it???? In England the age of majority is 18 though one can move out at 16 with parents permission -which she certainly never had!! So what can I do about it ??? iI would much rather not get the police involved ,but even if I do it seems that there is not much that they will do besides checking that she is safe -i.e they will not force her to come home unless she is in danger (which ,knowing her she probably is not...) So what are the options open to me???????? What exactly can I do??????? This is Urgent so please answer as quickly as possibile. Thank you

Answer on My 16 year old daughter has left home(in England) and gone to Italy without my permission -what can I do?

She'll probably be home soon. When her money runs out or when she realizes she can't get a job. I would call her, or her friends and ask where they are. If her friends don't tell you, I would say call their parents and ask.
