I have moderate fitness and enjoy jogging, cycling etc but definately not the gym !- but would ideally like to loose a stone
What combination (I'm looking at my diet too ) would be best to raise my fitness and loose that stone?

I would recommend Walking. Get a Pedometer do the maths 3600 Calories in a Pound - 14 Pounds in a Stone, use the Pedometer to keep track of Calories burnt. Keep your diet constant so you're not putting on further weight. If you force your body to function on a certain level of food intake it'll become accustomed to that - the hunger pangs shall lesson over time, just make sure the food you do eat be nutritious. Also eating a handful of sunflower and pumpkin seeds raw when hungry are an awesome pang buster!
