There are so many diet health questions that conflict! Help.?

Whole wheat supposedly healthy, but gluten causes weight gain/ bloating?

Fiber, anti bloating, then says broccolli causes bloating, but then asparigus doesn't? Confused!

Bannanas have potassium which supposedly alleives bloating, but what about the sugars in it?

Speaking of sugars, when and how should I consume natural sugars? Smoothies with fresh fruit vs. complex carbs?

Simple carbs vs complex... again, whole wheat, bannanas??? WTF?

drink more water to avoid bloating, but drinking it makes me feel way more bloated?

Cinnamon & caffene for boosting metabolism, but then to avoid bloating they say to avoid it???

So many more I hear about egg whites vs whole, red wine - good and bad, etc...

Anyone know of a reliable resource?

Answer on There are so many diet health questions that conflict! Help.?

I think the bloating claims of those outstanding foods are exaggerated. All of the above play an important part in a healthy diet.

I eat all of the above except red wine, I cook with it. I also take a cinnamon supplement, It makes me burp a mouthful of cinnamon flavor but one burb and its over.

Their benefits far outweigh their bloating side effects.
