Anyone noticed an absence of emotions or feelings on SSRIs? ?

I started taking Prozac three years ago to get over a traumatic break up and they honestly did wonders but now, I'm realizing they worked so well because I didn't seem to care about anything once I started taking them! NORMAL things that would upset anyone didn't seem to bother me at all, things such as death, job loss, weight gain, break ups....its kind of frightening if you think about it! Anyone had a similar experience with psychotic drugs?

Answer on Anyone noticed an absence of emotions or feelings on SSRIs? ?

yes that is exactly what they do and how they help! they put an emotional mask on you... i always found i would feel crap but just be incapable of actually crying about it... i don't think they help because its just like wearing concrete boots! its far more appropriate to learn how do deal with your emotional ups and downs... not mask it all...
